The Chetwynd is suitable for up to four (4) guests on two levels.

The villa’s soaring loft style cathedral ceilings and the spiral staircase that accesses the loft lodgings and also the open plan living provide for unique accommodation, all surrounding by huge spotted gums around your very private site. The villa is set in a beautiful vista overlooking the shiraz vines and rolling field looking out across the dams to the cattle ranch overlooked by the soaring Brockenback mountain range.

Unwind in the lounge area, relaxing by your crackling slow combustion log fire or sit back in your reverse cycle air conditioning. Awaken with hot air balloons drifting by. Stroll with the abundant birdlife surrounding you, meander through the vineyards or picnic by the one of the three dams enjoying views of kangaroos nibbling the grass at dusk, grazing horses and overlooking the expanse of the cattle ranch that surrounds you. Or alternatively enjoy a quiet moment on your own covered verandah or a BBQ on your private lawn, picnic table or lounge chairs taking in the view of the vines in the foreground and the soaring Brokenback mountain range peaking up from the back.

You are surrounded by natures offerings in a sweeping country property, and yet you are immediately amongst the Pokolbin, Rothbury and Lovedale vineyards, cellar doors, restaurants and entertainment offerings of the Hunter.

 The upstairs loft bedroom is fitted with a queen bed and also the private downstairs bedroom furnished with two (2) single beds. The high cathedral ceilings of the loft bedroom and living areas allow for the feeling of space to overlook the vineyards, with the loft bedroom being accessed via a spiral staircase.

 A fully fitted kitchen with espresso machine allows for casual dining either at the four person dining table inside or alternatively overlooking the Shiraz vineyards of the estate, dining outside at the four person table on the walkout covered veranda. Alternatively, feel the grass between your toes and enjoy your own picnic table with umbrella.

  • 2 x Bedrooms [1 x upstairs and 1 x downstairs]. Upstairs loft with 1 x queen bed and the downstairs a ground level, private bedroom with 2 x single beds. Bedrooms have new, quality carpeting, block out curtains and in room clothes hanging options.
  • 1 x ground level bathroom, spa bath inc. hairdryer, makeup mirror, soaps, quality bath towels & hand towels
  • The ground level bedroom is accessible with 2 x single bed configuration
  • Hotel quality bedding and linens, standing full length mirrors are provided.
  • Reverse cycle air-conditioning, wood combustion fireplace, block out curtains, open plan living room, four seat dining table
